An Exclusive Dining Experience!
The Austin Diners Club is an exclusive organization committed to bringing people together so they can appreciate the beautiful city of Austin and one another while dining in the finest restaurants.
Gwen Cash, founder of the Club, started the group by sending an emailing blast to her closest friends asking who would be interested in dining with her once a month. By the end of that day, she’d received 25 responses from friends, family members, and acquaintances. In 2009, 96 new members joined in one year. Currently, there are over 156 official members in the Club and more are joining daily.

The dining experience is scheduled once a month on different nights of the week to allow all members the opportunity to participate. Members of the club receive the list for all monthly dinners, access to the Austin Diners Club social networking website, a Club VIP Membership card, Club premier Chef Table Side Dinners, restaurant blog reviews, discounted group food rates, inside knowledge of upcoming restaurant openings, a calendar of events, a list of Happy Hours in Austin and the opportunity to meet and dine with Austin’s finest, including numerous celebrity guests, all for an annual enrollment fee for individuals and for couples. The Club’s fine dining experiences include III Forks, La Traviata, Roy’s, NoRTH, Eddie V’s, Perry’s Steakhouse, PF Chang’s China Bistro, The Grove Wine Bar and Kitchen, Paggi House, and more.
Cash is renowned for her vast knowledge of wine, fine dining and travel. She enjoys traveling the world to bring back culinary secrets and sharing them with others. When she is not focusing on the Club, she is a REALTOR and a marketing director for CH Hale Prostate Cancer Foundation. Cash has also launched Destined For Growth foundation that will provide cultural dining experiences for disadvantaged children in Austin. Cash said, “I’m passionate about forming this organization because it’s vital to the success and future of our youth that they understand the importance of culture and elegance so they can function in any social situation life may present to them.” Every child should be able to experience a fine meal if given a chance.”
Cash has visited fine dining restaurants in cities around the world and plans to use her extensive knowledge of food and wine to continue growing the Austin Diners Club. Future goals for the organization include opening a San Antonio Diners Club, sponsoring an educational trip abroad for disadvantaged children to experience the local cuisine, and forming a partnership with local restaurants and youth members of after-school programs to create unique local dining experiences.
